Hi, Kelly. I definitely agree with you about how much of an asset it is to
have Cindy, as well as any other sighted volunteers we might have. There are
just some things that we might be able to do, but that would be a lot easier
for someone with sight to do them, and it is definitely a big help. Take

Hi Rick,
I like your ideas for finding more people who would enjoy volunteering with
Bookshare. There are a lot of retired people with valuable skills who might
enjoy this; if my grandma weren't so busy I'd try to recruit her since she
did word-processing and proofing before she retired. Anyway, it has been
very nice to have Cindy working with us. It's helpful to have some sighted
assistance available for certain projects, not to mention just having more
volunteers to do the scanning and validating work in general.
