Sue YOu're right assuming, of course, that a previous validator noticed the book on STep 1 and then retrieved it again. They then would submit their previously perfected copy with, hopefully, proof of copyright in the comments field. In most instances, the next attempted validation is by someone not previously involved with the book who has to start from the beginning. If the book is a straightforward turn around, then no big deal. If the book requires hours of work then previous efforts are wasted. Sue Mangis' submission of "on a Snowy NIght" went through 3 validations before being accepted. I suspect that Amber and the 2nd validator weren't exactly thrilled that their efforts went to no avail. Grace finally surmounted the copyright hurdle and got the book into the collection over the weekend. Hopefully, all of us learned something about jumping through that hoop for the next time this becomes an issue. e To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
