It would be interesting to add in climate change as a representation.
Climate change is man-made and causes the destruction of habitats of
various specious. That, in turn, pushes species into contact that
otherwise aren't in contact. Then viruses that don't do much harm in one
species cross across to another species where they create havoc.
The main scientific theory as to the origin of HIV, Ebola, SARS and COVID
19 is that they were endemic in bats and crossed to another species in the
case of COVD 19 (Coronavirus) to a weird scaled animal used in
Chinese Medicine. That is what mainstream scientists believe the virus
crossed into the human population. So this theory is entirely
consistent with the epidemic being man-made.
Meanwhile, cogently argued conspiracy theories proliferate on the internet.
One I have read is that the virus originated in a Chinese bio lab in Wunan.
In a strange way, I think these conspiracy theories are reassuring because
they create the illusion that humans are 100% responsible for any fate that
befalls us. That belief is in fact, part of the original problem. We need
to bow to nature and its forces that are so much bigger and stronger than
the human species. It would be interesting to see the effect fo
that movement in a coronavirus constellation.

“man-made” part is in my head.
For me, if our work can’t help us discern questions like that, then what
good is it? We use our process to explore extremely complex systems, and
while I’m not suggesting it can be taken “factually” at every turn, I do
need to trust that it will help me get to the truth at the very least.

Perhaps it would be an opportune time to explore how conspiracy theories
take hold so easily and how to constellation work might help us to defend
ourselves against them. After all, they are now so rife on both the left
and right sides of politics and they are being fed by echo chambers on the
internet and they do cause so much harm.

epidemics and other of the Greater Forces are often blind spots in
understanding some family systems as well as trans-generational trauma.
It is important now to stay awake ,keep an open mind, do your own
research with reliable sources,as well as being mindful of the many agendas
in play at this time. Ultimately, it is important to ask ourselves as to
how we choose to position ourselves and our work in relation to this global
event.
As of today the Austral-Asian Intensive in Sydney is still on and I am
planning to attend.
