Just to keep things in the logical order in which the conversation unfolded.

We were first talking here I believe about this pandemic-- and there was a suggestion that it was man-made.
Then someone dubbed that suggestion a "conspiracy theory," which subtly discounted the suggestion that the pandemic could be man-made.
As an American, and since the term "conspiracy theory" comes from the U.S., I just want to mention that in using the term "conspiracy theory," many people never ask, "Where did the term itself originate?" My understanding is that it is the product of "psychological operations" of the US government. More about that here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_operations_(United_States)
I will also report that I heard from someone with many connections in China, that the Chinese people who are familiar with Wulan also regard that the lab from which Corona emerged was working to develop biological weaponry.
Concerning questions as to how the pandemic will relate to constellation work, I'm sure that anyone could possibly predict how any war, famine, or outsized event will relate until we see it unfold. It seems a highly relevant topic.

Time will tell. History has  much to offer about the impact of plagues upon the existing social order...and there does not seem to be much interest in history these days and its not taught anymore in many public schools here in the USA.

No one - as far as I can tell - called this pandemic a conspiracy, suggesting this sounds pretty ridiculous.

I hope not all who don't agree are lumped into “fear based and reactionary”.

Hello
This epidemic is real, not a conspiracy and it is a fact that epidemics are of systemic importance in understanding family and other systems.  The ramifications of this recent pandemic will not likely be known for quite some time and dismissing any discussion as "conspiracy" seems fear based and reactionary.

Thank you Barbara,
I agree and at the same time, the conversation needs to stay relevant to constellation work.  If it becomes a debate about conspiracy theories unrelated to constellation work I will intervene.
Perhaps it would be an opportune time to explore how conspiracy theories take hold so easily and how to constellation work might help us to defend ourselves against them. After all, they are now so rife on both the left and right sides of politics and they are being fed by echo chambers on the internet and they do cause so much harm.

This is a democratic international discussion group and therefore, unless people are being insulting or disrespectful to others, which Chris has always monitored very effectively, anyone is allowed to express their views on these issues. The truth is we don’t know what the origin of the virus is so we can’t say definitively one way or the other.

With any kind of group like this there will always be times when I disagree with what is being said. That is not a reason to exclude it or take the discussion elsewhere. Barbara

Friends and Colleagues,

It is not a bio-weapon.
Please, for the sake of all that is precious, I cannot put up with a long thread on this topic coming into my inbox at this time. Please take this kind of conversation elsewhere. Otherwise, I will need to leave this list. I assume I am not alone in this.
Thanks.

Thanks, Angwyn.  What is the evidence for believing it is man-made bioweapon?   I wondered about that but have seen nothing to suggest evidence.  What am I missing?

Greetings from Arizona !

From time to time Bert Hellinger would refer to what he called  the "Greater Forces " that shape individual lives, families and larger systems. Among those forces we find war, famine, economic collapse, political unrest, genocide, natural disasters, immigration, emigration and epidemics which often overlap. To this list,I would also add radiation since associated events have impacted millions of lives for generations and my recent article in TKF "The Bomb Joins the Family" is about that.
We are currently experiencing a global pandemic, and this one is man made since the virus originated in a bio-weapons lab. Which lab and how it got to  China and many other questions are still subject to high octane speculation. Who benefits ? And "follow the money" are important questions and it may be quite awhile until the fog lifts and the dust settles. Nevertheless, we are witnessing  an epidemic as a catalyst and force of social change, as well as social control. As Bert noted, events such as epidemics  and other of the Greater Forces are often blind spots in understanding some family systems as well as trans-generational trauma.
It is important now to stay awake ,keep an open mind, do your own research with reliable sources,as well as being mindful of the many agendas in play at this time.  Ultimately, it is important to ask ourselves as to how we choose to position ourselves and our work in relation to this global event.
As of today the Austral-Asian Intensive in Sydney is still on and I am planning to attend.
