I saw Cecilio Rogojo use it last year in Zagreb. Very nice movement. Although,
not cataleptic in the technical sense, just a way to include a representation
in a particular and very convenient way.
Reading a bit off of google books from Miracle, Solution and System, it seems
that there is a process where you can induce your hand into an independent
sensing system that can do what reps do in representational perception. Which
makes the whole thing “cataleptic” rather than just a useful nearby object to
hold a representation in the system (like a chair).

Thx for the correction! ThenI can’t remember then who used it—but it was very
recently, like in the past year.

Barry, thx a lot. Was is Berthold who used it at the CT training? For the
same purpose I generally use empty chairs.

Well, very briefly, it is using the facilitator's hand, eye level, in place
of where a representative would be placed. It is useful in case there are
not enough reps, in individual work, and for testing out a hypothesis.
You can look up lots of references in Insa Sparrer's book 'Miracle,
Solution & System'. I believe the technique was adopted to SySt from
hypnosis, where it signifies something slightly different. From there to
more general work.

you please describe the cataleptic hand and how and where it is used?
Elena Versalaga, can you describe the cataleptic hand perhaps? (Sorry if I
misspelled your name Elena.) Thanks a lot, Liz
