I listened to the demo earlier this evening. Somebody out there knows that
blind musicians, songwriters, and producers can do amazing things when
top-notch tools are made accessible! Someone earlier in this thread
mentioned the need for moving the technology out of a 61-key keyboard. In
the demo, Andre mentions an 88-key version. Unfortunately, I can't afford
even the 49-key version.
Separate from the incredible plug-in and controller, I thought my MIDI drum
tracks sounded pretty realistic but Andre says that he practices his MIDI
drumming. He blows any drum tracks I created out of the water!

Chris,
Ahh okay. Thank you. It should be just a matter of time when it is
self-voicing through windows.
'the product is self-voicing on the Mac, and not through VoiceOver either.'
What do you mean by voice over?
Is it using the speech synthesizer built in the Mac?

James, the product is self-voicing on the Mac, and not through
VoiceOver either. That's it so far. All you can do is express your
interest in an accessible version for Windows to the folks at Native
Instruments directly.

Hello,
Very interesting demo. Definitely sounds like a godsend, being able to
tweak parameters directly from the keyboard is awesome.
During the demo Andre is fielding questions from people and one of the
questions was compatibility with windows and he says no, not yet.
However, I am finding on sweetwater.com where vst is available in just
the software itself and when packaged with the hardware controller.
Am I missing something? Also, on the product information and tech
specs, there is no mention of a that the product has a built in voice
to speak when parameters are tweaked...
Thanks.

Steve,
Their pianos don't cut it. But their drums definitely do.

Ah those Brits, they get all the cool stuff first! LOL. Very nice
out-of-the-box thing. Now they need to take it out of the 61-note
controller and package the NI controller separately. I have two
61-note boards in here already, and there's just no room for any more!
But I want one. The accessibility is phenomenal, and say what you
like about Native Instruments sound offerings, and personally
they're pretty neat but their pianos still sound too sampled and
electronic, sometimes accessibility trumps instrumentation for me.
