Personally, I have not heard pianos better than the ones from the Kontakt
player. As a piano player myself, I can say that in my opinion I have not heard
any sampled piano that sounds more realistic.
I have ivory. I use to use it quite a bit. Until Steve Spamer developed
hotspots fort he Kontakt player. Now, Alicia Keys is my go to piano for almost
everything. I also enjoy the other three pianos that ship with the player as
well.
If you guys have heard something better than Alicia Keys, I would certainly
like to know about it. Being a piano player, this is what I value the most
since I don't have room to record a real piano in my small studio.

Steve,
Their pianos don't cut it. But their drums definitely do.

Ah those Brits, they get all the cool stuff first! LOL. Very nice
out-of-the-box thing. Now they need to take it out of the 61-note
controller and package the NI controller separately. I have two
61-note boards in here already, and there's just no room for any more!
But I want one. The accessibility is phenomenal, and say what you like
about Native Instruments sound offerings, and personally they're
pretty neat but their pianos still sound too sampled and electronic,
sometimes accessibility trumps instrumentation for me.
