Hey, the one advantage is that there is almost not enough space to get bad acoustics in the room. Only thing I'd like a bigger room for is to get microphones further away from the computer. Since I do almost all of the laying of tracks, its helpful to be close to the gear. The wireless keyboard helps but not enough to really get far enough away that it makes a difference. The curse of having sensitive mics. /dave ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Wicketts" <steve.wicketts@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

wow! what a contrast to my studio space, My equipment is wall to wall with just enough room for my swivel chair. If I push the key into the door too hard, it brakes the window in the opposite wall. I call my Studio, Clostrophonic, it's too small to be a telephone box, that's why superman has never used it to get changed.
It's basically a wardrobe with a window.
I'm hoping to move to a bigger space, just got to finish the Corn flakes first. It's a good job that Sonar and Caketalking scrip's help me sound like an orchestra or else I'd be just known as, The Man In The Match box.

True, I realized that might be the case after I sent the email... My studio is large enough to record a full orchestra, with a choir with room to spare, so I'm able to have concerts in the studio. Also when you sing over a live orchestra it feels amazing, so that's usually where I get my best takes from...

That's a brilliant idea, but, unfortunately, not always so practical!

Bring in a ton of people to watch him and make it feel like it's a live performance.
That helps me...
