Hypersonic isn't editable really at all. There are 5 parameters that you can
change for each voice. You change them, and they do things behind the scenes to
adjust some part of the voice.
HS2 is mostly out moving forward, though. It isn't for sale, and it won't work
with anything after XP. No Win 7, and no 64-bit.

Although I've never done it, I've heard that hypersonic's parameters are
accessible. I'm not sure if you can get as extensive with it as you're looking
for, but I have heard from several blind users that its parameters are quite
accessible. I've messed with its fx very minimally, and they're definitely
accessible, but never messed around with or probed its oscillators.

I mean an analog soft synth. I want one with like 3 oscillators and a
couple filters, maybe some fx, although I can patch fx in my self. I want to
make some nice thick bass sounds and cool leads. maybe something with an arp on

Anything sample based requires either producing your own sample library (which
is very expensive), or else licensing samples from someone else (which is still
expensive for anything quality). Many of the companies that have been doing
sampling professionally for the longest, and do it the best (like the big 3:
Yamaha, Korg, and Roland), won't license their material to you under any terms

I've wondered for a while, why do companies insist in reproducing the sounds of
the old stuff, (yeah it's sounds cool and some of those sounds are awesome),
but can we sort of focus on making new stuff, using all this computer power to
make something different, as oppose to trying to accurately reproduce every
ocilator and technology of the hardware stuff? Hardware is hardware, software
is software; some of the factors of those old synths can not be reproduced,
there's just that factor of electronics and circuits that change so randomly
and depending on so many different factors that.... It's kind of a waste of
time... I'd rather have a completely digital synth that focuses on that realm
and does it well, instead of trying to imitate/reproduce 10 different synths
from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, etc...
