In which case, turn the limiter off. That will give you a clearer idea of how hard your driving the metres on a bus. Alternatively, look at alternative scripts which give you access to Sonar's VU metres. That way you may get an idea of how hard your driving the metres E.G, the RMS level that your hitting the bus at. Finally, if the compressor that your using has metering fully implemented, read off the various metres such as the gain reduction metre in the compressor. The Sonitus compressor has full metering implemented.
