And to add to that, why spend hours a day coding, when you can do the same
thing in about 30 minutes with a CMS package. Then, you could concentrate on
putting your music out there.

I agree you don't need bells and whistles.

But, why do you think companies spend millions on packaging and
presentation.

Simple.

To sighted people, it makes a difference.

REgardless of what you are offering, if it is for a wider audience than the
blind community, having something that is visually pleasant to look at will
keep your visitors on your site longer.

And that's what all webmasters want.

That is exactly why I have a sighted person look at my site.
You can have an excellent site with out all the graphics crap.
It all boils down how hard you work at it and what you are trying to 
achieve.
I have music to offer not a hollywood website.
I just want folks to enjoy my music.
