I agree with you. That's why I quickly gave up trying to learn html coding. So
which cms's have you found most accessible with jaws? I'm using joomla now, and
it seems okay. Although, like i said earlier, some of its functions are
java-based.

Here's what I advise people to do. If you're not a code nerd, don't even try.
The wheel has already been invented in the form of CMS's or Content Management
Systems. There are tons of them. Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, Hostbaby, etc. Find
the one you want, and roll with it. Most web providers such as Host Gator
support all of these platforms, except Host Baby, which is a host/web builder
package for musicians. You're ultimate goal is not to geek out, unless you
absolutely have the chops to do so. You're a musician, an artist, a creative
thinker, a creator of content. That should be your main objective. To get your
stuff out there. The above mentioned content management systems that I
mentioned really help you do that in a quick and easy way, and all the sites
are completely accessible. If you want my thoughts on specific CMS's, let me
know. Hope this helps.

I know some of you have your own websites on here as I do. What are the most
effective methods you've discovered for the best accessibility for us? Doing
things like: uploading our music, etc? The person who set up my website used
joomla, and I'm now learning to navigate with that, but some of it is
java-based, and jaws won't work with it. Any simpler suggestions?

  Thanks.
