Bill,
DBT is putting in italics because of the underline from the
hyperlink. The easiest thing to do is modify your Word hyperlink style
so there isn't an underline. Between using Courier and getting rid of
the underline, you'll be in good shape when the file is brought into
DBT.

reference was not in Courier; but when it was in Courier?
