The following is a suggestion which may help to solve your multiple embosser problem using Templates. 1) Open a new print document in DBT selecting whatever Template you would normally use. 2) Set up one of your embossers via, "DOCUMENT" Embosser Setup. 3) You may need to introduce some text into the document in order to test that it embosses as you wish. 4) At this stage you may also wish to save the test document - feel free to do so. 5) When you are completely happy with the settings, open your test document, and remove all the test text. (Ctrl + a, then press delete) 6) Now go to the DOCUMENT menu, and select "Create Template". 7) Give your Template an appropriate name, for example, "English Grade 2 - MAIN Embosser". All things being equal, when you create a new document, or import one, your new Template will be available for selection in the list of Templates, and will have retained the embosser settings. Repeat the above for each embosser you wish to use, remembering to give a different name at stage 7) It is also possible that in some cases, editing of the embosser configuration file emb.elt may be required. This is best done on an individual case by case basis. George Bell.
