PathMonitor_serial_log.txt contains the bt of possibly the wrong "path
monitor looper" thread (there are several), but syslog.8 has some
interesting stuff:
Its backtrace locates the input_server PathMonitorLooper in the same place
as with diver in comment:11 and also same as me in comment:20 , that is to
say, in `GetAncestor()`
Also, said "GetAncestor()" call gets interrupted and the last function
call in the stack is to `process_pending_ici()`.. Might be the same "ICI"
that bugs vidrep in his other ticket, or just a coincidence? (I dunno what
ICI is).
Will try a couple more things in off-site emails with vidrep
