What is the gcc error (above the "failed C++...." line) exactly;
What do the first few lines of the Jamfile look like, quote it in here and
we'll check wether the `DEBUG = 1 ;` line includes white spaces ..etc as
needed (if you want you can do "clean formatting" quotting by clicking the
5th icon from the left of the "Bold Italics Anchor ..." row and pasting
the quote between the created curly braces).
