   I noticed in the other information you provided that the disk was formatted 
in OS Extended Journaled Case Sensitive.  Is there any reason why case 
sensitive was done?  That is usually done for servers or for very specific 
reasons.

    Also, I missed the start of this thread.  You cannot delete files?  Is 
there an error message that shows up?
