Yeah, I took a look at that when I was using it as my primary machine a
few years ago, and though I think I found some memory leaks, I never
tested it well enough to verify if that was the cause, because it was
shortly after that I came into posession of a windows 8.1 machine, and
switched to that. Now that I have multiple pies though, I may tackle
this one again. I too like the software synth being on the GPU, it
definitely makes for better resource usage, and it leaves the entire CPU
available for apps, which is sometimes important, especially if you're
running the pi near it's limitations.
