I mean why not have the tgz files on github as well. I was not being
patronizing. I was asking why you have to have them in both places.

Will grab my ttsprojects repository, and in there you will find that, and some
other stuff, some finished, some not.
I am not stupid enough to not put code on remote repositories. The 'hmm'
was a bit patronising.
It is just convenient for folks to be able to get the tarballs from the Web
site as well.
And since there is still interest, I will put them back on the new Web site.

If I'm not mistaken, Mike's Github(cromartie if memory serves) does include
repositories for those, and the downloads on the website are just for
tarballs.
That said, I should probably figure out how to install vanilla espeakup or
Fenrir the next time I write a vanilla Raspbian-Lite image, though I believe
my Pi 3 currently has piespeakup on it despite that card being written
shortly after the bug was fixed in Raspbian, if only because that was the
method I was used to using to get speech on a Pi. Got the tarballs saved
locally in case I need them though.
