I will put the tarballs back on the new site.
I still like the OMX code myself, it sounds more punchy somehow.
Probably lower latency than the ALSA route.
Pity I could never find the bug that makes it go silent after a few days.
But a reboot over SSH always fixes that.

That said, I should probably figure out how to install vanilla
espeakup or Fenrir the next time I write a vanilla Raspbian-Lite
image, though I believe my Pi 3 currently has piespeakup on it despite
that card being written shortly after the bug was fixed in Raspbian,
if only because that was the method I was used to using to get speech
on a Pi. Got the tarballs saved locally in case I need them though.
