Dyke Marsh, 8:30 AM, cloudy, wet
Great morning at Dyke Marsh, highlights include 6 Bufflehead (2 drakes)
diving close to shore, great views of Northern Shoveler, a mature Bald
Eagle, 2 Red-shouldered Hawks (1 immature), 3 Winter Wrens and a Fox
Sparrow digging through leaves on the path. Carolina Wrens loudly alerting
all that a Red-shouldered Hawk was present. Groups of GB Herons and G
Egrets out in the open on mud flats.
