Hi Dan and all,

probably due to the intricacies of the Internet, 20 minutes after I had posted this

what comes to me is: simply another constellation, possibly even a remote one considering the distance involved.

Starting with three reps: the mother, the son and "mother's will/wish"
without letting any details be known to the reps.

With your background info you will see fit whom/what else to bring in as it unfolds.
Light may be shed then on the inter sibling relationship too.

did Jane's reply to your post arrive in my mailbox.
Her response feels to be pointing into the same direction as  mine.

Let me take the moment to add to my suggestion of a further constellation.
Ask the man: to imagine his mother's "will/wish" (that, what is behind her request) . Does it appear to be male or female?
