I know I don't have to express my frustrations, but I'm at a loss here.
Restoring to two weeks ago didn't work. I read some posts last night which
offered some suggestions--one was to go to the JAWS menus to enter on the
install the Video Intercept, but then I got an error message that says that it
was unable to fix due to something about not locating a "chain" or something
like that. I recall doing this last year as well with no results. If it's not
a software issue for some reason, could it be a problem with the video card or
the jack where the monitor plugs in? I've reset the unity gain and such on the
FW 1884, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with the video.

The monitor works fine because I hooked it up to another PC. Other than
installing everything, which is a last resort, do you guys have any
suggestions? I'm not a techee, but since I have no monitor, none of my sighted
friends are of any help. I'm going to keep looking on line for other
solutions. Thanks for listening, SLB
