Use sweeping technique. In case you don't know how, here it is.
Use parametter eq with peek setting. Inspector eq will do it. Boost the gain
a lot like 10 or 13 db. Assign a control nob to a freq and sweep the freq
from bottom to top. It'll help you find the freq you want to cut or boost
easily.

Also, unless your bass has a low B string, a low E on a bass guitar is around 40 HZ. Maybe boost a little around 110-160HZ; kinda adds warmpth.

I just recorded a few songs with live basses on them. On one of them, I realized that I captured the bass with some hiss, is there anyway I can EQ this out? And, the bass is very boomy, any suggestions on where I should start cutting and boosting to get a clear tight bass.
