By the way, when we use the term latency, does that refer to when you play
notes on your keyboard, for example, and you get a slight delay between the
time you play and the time you actually hear the sound?

Hmm, always found 128 to be a wee bit low. Try 256 instead.

  Hello,

I'm using sonar 8.5. I'm getting latency with all my softsynths for some
reason. I have all the settings, (buffer sizes,) both in the acio pannel and in
the sonar advanced audio menu set low. In the acio pannel i ahve the sample
buffer size set to 64, and in sonar audio advanced menu i have the buffer play
and record set at 128. Can anyone think of anything else that might be causing
latency?

  Thank you.
