Hi Ben,

Thanks for passing on that tip.  It appears to be a continual problem,
and is generally caused by what is known as the "off screen model" of
the screen reader not being refreshed automatically.  I'm sure many of
you will have seen this problem reported in programs like Word for
Windows, where it often maifests itself by saying "blank line" where in
fact text is there.

I'm hoping some of these problems will be resolved very soon after the
screen reader companies finally agree on a common standard of video
interfacing.

Just for the record, we had a case recently where neither screen reader
nor software product was to blame for similar missreading problems.  It
turned out to be an extremely obscure problem to do with Microsoft's
Active Accessibility. (MSA)  Took some finding, but just goes to show
how difficult some problems are to resolve.
