I wonder if it would be possible to also put them on the Duxbury website? I suppose you'd have to post one heck of a disclaimer to do that, but it might be a good idea. I'd be quite happy to try them out. I'm using JAWS 4.5. As I am a JAWS user and I work at Duxbury Systems, I have been exploring some of the issues about DBT and JAWS that have come up on the list in the last few days. In particular, I have worked on reproducing the problem of JAWS' saying the wrong item when you use the DownArrow, UpArrow, Ctrl+RightArrow, or Ctrl+LeftArrow key to move by line or by word. I have done this exploration with JAWS 4.02 and DBT 10.4. When the DownArrow problem uccurs for me, I always find that the cursor was already on the bottom line of text on the window before I pressed DownArrow. For example, in the file dochow.dxp from the Duxbury folder, when the cursor is at the top of the document and I press PageDown followed by DownArrow, JAWS should speak the line "General Notes" but often speaks the line above that or says "blank." Similarly, when the UpArrow problem occurs for me, I always find that the cursor was already on the top line of text on the window before I pressed UpArrow. My guess is that in the cases where this problem occurs, DBT takes a little longer to reposition the text on the screen, and JAWS needs to wait a little onger before speaking the line. I have written a quick set of JAWS script files which makes JAWS delay before speaking for these arrowing commands. In my initial testing, I am no longer finding this problem. If anyone would like me to send them this set of script files for testing, please send me a note off the list. I created these script files in jaws 4.02, i BELIEVE THEY WOULD WORK IN OTHER VERSIONS OF jaws AS WELL.
