Hi Ann,

I'd like to try and follow this up more specifically.

In the first place, what do Word documents have to do with
it? Are Freedom Scientific trying to say that if a Word
Document has been translated by Duxbury, and is sent to a
Duo, then the Duo can lose it's top of form.

I'm not right now trying to shoot from the hip, but would
your PC unit person be prepared to talk to me (on or off the
record) on the telephone, so that I can get a few more
facts? If so, what's their name, number and telephone
extension.

George.

I was not told who said this to the person who gave me the
info. That person is employed in our PC Unit. We have been
having lots of problems with the Duo losing it's top of form
memory. I was told that FS gave out that the reason is Word
2000 docs. I don't believe it either because we were having
this problem way back when we were in Word 98 or 97.

Hi Ann,

If we are talking Duxbury here, then this is the biggest
load of unadulterated c..p I have heard in a long time.

Do you have the name of this uneducated idiot? By the time
he's finished reading what I have to say to him, he will
remember it when he is a grandfather with one tooth!!

George.

The PC unit at my agency have been told by Freedom
Scientific that people who are using the VersaPoint Duo must
convert any Word 2000 docs to WordPerfect at some lower
version in order for the VersaPoint Duo to work properly.
Have any of you all heard that? This is the weirdest thing
I've heard in a long time.
