Thanks George, I may yet take you up on the phone support. It would have to be after 8pm for us so I'll find out if any of our IT staff are planning any evening sessions. To answer your earlier questions: We're using XP professional. The new printserver for the embosser is a dedicated PC (a pentium 4) which has had extra slots added so the three embossers can all be attached directly with parallel cables. The previous setup was an old PC running Windows 3.1 with two embossers connected to it. The alternative would be to go to three Jetdirect printserver boxes but we'd prefer to retain the ability to quickly cancel a job while in the embosser room if we can. I agree that it feels like some sort of single separator page that is coming through as braille lines rather than print lines. And great to hear from you too Ann. Hopefully the fact that our two different systems are showing the same symptons will help us all to track it down. I'm running a Windows 2003 Server (SP1), with a mixture of XP (SP2) Home and Professional workstations. In order to compare "apples with apples" there are a few basic requirements. 1) Must someone there who has full administrator's system rights. 2) Ideally have access to both the Server and an adjacent workstation. 3) DBT 10.5 (SR1).
