I use samsung drives for backups and rebuilds. to me, very reliable. have used 
seagates and WD's for a while but WD drives these days are (woh, nearly said 
something shocking) rather nasty… 

depending on storage needs, performance, etc. samsung 2.5" hdd's do perform 
rather well. but I've been spoilt by SSD drives and wouldn't go back.
