Cold rain and rime took the pleasure out of this morning's abbreviated walk.
Our group of three tallied 20 species. There really wasn't a highlight unless
the sheer numbers of geese qualify. The Riverbend mute swan was seen just
below the dam. With the low ceiling we saw only two ring-billed gulls, but
there were likely more flying higher. All are welcome to join this regular
Sunday morning walk that meets at 8:00 am in the visitors center parking lot.
