At Great Falls National Park this morning our group of seven tallied 36
species. Highlight of the day was an osprey. With the river receding there
robins, redwings and a song sparrow on the smallest island strip above the
falls. With skunk cabbage now up, there is hope of spring. All are welcome
to join this regular Sunday walk that meets at 8:00am in the visitors center
parking lot -- Marshall Rawson, McLean VA
