This is all very fascinating, and quite disturbing at the same time. I think its great that technology is bringing this sort of stuff along, but can't help but think that music is about interaction. I think a big part of the equation gets thrown out when its all prerecorded, even by great musicians. I feel like performing can be so much rewarding when you are actually interacting with others. But, hey, whatever works for ya... With that said, I think these sort of things do look like great shedding tools.
