Hi, Just been reading up a bit on Sonar 5's step recording and yes, you do need a means of getting notes into the machine. There was a thread a little while ago about using the QWERTY keyboard as a note input device - does anybody have the details, please? If there is a method of doing this, then we have a complete step recording system with no MIDI controller or keyboard required. Best wishes.
