Hi there, , I need to know how I use the piano roll for making bass line patterns, and how to do this note duration thing for the midi tracks. I'm not recordinng any physical instruments or external midi devices. I'm want to know how I would be able to create my own basslines, my sighted friend is able to click on c3 for example with the mouse and he then can create his bassline pattern. How does the blind user do this. I hope i'm making sense with my question . thanx Ross

Hi!

I'm recording the same patch, strings, on two different midi tracks, the first being a melody part, the second, a harmonizing part. Sometimes it seems that when the melody plays a note, the harmonizing chord gets cut, when I want the pedal to sustain it. Is there a way to disconnect the two tracks from having an effect on one another?
