Amen, Steve! Adequate instruction has always been the missing link in DBT.
When, after a number of versions, new users are still asking simple questions
about such mundane things as indents and skipped lines, you have to know that
instruction is sorely wanting. I agree that a hard copy is necessary for the
new user. It's amazing how confused the novices are about the simplest
operations of the program. I was certainly one of them. Walk me through the
process with a "dynamite" tutorial--step by minute step--PLEASE! -- kt

In my opinion, Help files are good for refreshing your memory on a topic with
which you're already familiar. However, when you're first starting out with a
piece of software, or you need detailed instructions, there's nothing like a
hard copy (print or braille) which you can look at independently of the
computer. Unfortunately with most Windows software, the trend is to have the
Help files and forget about the manuals. I think if we're going to get
software that is truly "user friendly," we really need both.
