Welcome to the list, and let me make a plain statement.

The only stupid question, is the one you don't ask.

We've all been new to DBT at some time or another, and so this list is here to 
help you.  As you so rightly say, if questions are repeated, which they often 
are, there is always the delete key.

As regards your problem, do you have DBT's Global Embosser Settings set to 29 
lines?  Do you also have the Index set up for 29 lines.

Your local dealer/supplier should be able to help you achieve this if you are 
having difficulty.  However, if your back is seriously to the wall, and you can 
call England, call us on +44 1604 792777 and ask for Kevin (our Engineer) or 
George (that's me).
