I absolutely and positively agree with Steve. The thing I notice in my workplace is that sighted people who want to just print out a little help file can do it with a keystroke. We must take hours more time to format the thing etc. I really wish that adaptive software people would provide braille manuals. I'd be willing to pay extra for them, although when you consider what we pay for adaptive soft and hardware, the braille manuals should be part of the package. The little Duxbury User's Guide I have in Braille, which is really old, was nice and I'd like to see that updated. Ann Foxworth, Computer Braille Specialist Texas Commission for the Blind 4800 N. However, when you're first starting out with a piece of software, or you need detailed instructions, there's nothing like a hard copy (print or braille) which you can look at independently of the computer. Unfortunately with most Windows software, the trend is to have the Help files and forget about the manuals. I think if we're going to get software that is truly "user friendly," we really need both.
