Mike, there are two groups of settings you need to check: one group in DBT itself, and the other in your Index embosser. If, for example, your index is set to print 25 lines per page, you'll start a new page on line 26 even if DBT is set for 29 lines. Conversely, if DBT is set to print 25 lines per page, it won't matter if the Index is set to print 29 lines. In short, the DBT settings must match those of your Index, and once they do, you should have no more problems.

As far as I'm concerned, ask as many questions as you want. None of us were born DBT experts, and we all have to ask questions at some point. You may not believe it, but soon you'll be answering questions for other new Duxusers, and you'll be amazed at your own expertise.
