You can also use a program called scp for secure copy, it works just
like ssh, only you would do something like:
scp user@host:file.txt ./
to copy a file to your machine, and:
scp file.txt user@host:dir1/dir2/file.txt
to copy a file to your pi/unix host. That too is built in to windows,
and it uses the ssh daemon to do it's work, so any keys you already have
installed will work just the same with scp as they will with ssh.

connects the same way ssh does but you can send files over it. Windows is
fine for getting started but you might want to install wsl which is the
windows Linux command line. It will make life easier as you get better at
things. For now though ssh and sftp will do you fine.

Hi,
I have figured out how to do ssh in windows so that I can connect remotely
to my Pi’s on my network. I am still new to all of this and quite rusty.
Will I need a terminal emulator when I connect to my Pi via windows ssh?
All I want to do is login once in a while, maybe run a few programs, write
some code, and maybe install a few packages. Will I be able to do this
without using a terminal emulator?
My coding friend says I need one but I really do not know the difference
between terminal emulator, terminal, and ssh. This is all quite new to me.

I have Win10 builed 18363 installed and the strange thing is that my pc
tries to install a later build but at some stage it says that the install
failed. This is going on for a few months.
