Tuesday morning was such a cool morning that it was a pleasure to 
walk the trails at Radnor Lake even though passerine migration is
nearly finished.  I took the usual route from the west parking lot
to Long Bridge along the Lake Trail, and Jan Shaw, fresh from her 
extensive SE Arizona trip, caught up to me there.  Relatively 
speaking Long Bridge was a hive of activity.  In addition to 
excellent extended looks at a male MOURNING WARBLER at Long Bridge, 
we also had SWAINSON'S THRUSH, a singing male CANADA WARBLER, a 
silent OVENBIRD, and a silent MAGNOLIA WARBLER.  Back at the 
Artist and Teacher bench we had another singing MOURNING WARBLER.
Early in my walk I saw a BARRED OWL fly across the lake.

All in all a wonderful late spring morning.
