Radnor Lake State Natural Area Davidson Co. Nashville, TN 29 May 2008 6:45-8:45am A cool walk on Wednesday morning produced no transient migrants. However, one of the BALD EAGLEs had resumed its vigil and displaced the OSPREY of the past 2 days. It was perched in the cove around 7 am but not seen from the deck along the Lake Trail shortly thereafter. Other birds of interest were 2 YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOOs calling and one of the young LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSHes that was still a bit fuzzy and wobbly on its feet, but making short flights from the dam toward Cane Bridge. -- Frank Fekel Tennessee State University Center of Excellence in Information Systems 3500 John A.
