It is a good thing that the Radnor Lake Wednesday walks do not start
for another week or two. Birding was again slow as Jan Shaw and
I looked for migrants this morning at Radnor Lake from 7-9 am.

The dead deer that Jan had found on a previous day was starting to smell
extensively.

Again the "hot" spot was the old visitor's center aka ranger quarters
near the dam. Birds of note at Radnor Lake this morning included

Pied-billed Grebe 1
Vireo species 1 (possible Philadelphia but too far away to be certain)
Blue-winged Warbler 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler 2
Black-and-White Warbler 2
N. Parula 1
Rose-breasted Grosbeak 1
Baltimore Oriole (adult male) 1
