This morning our group of six birders tallied 34 species. While it wasn't
particularly birdy, there were some excellent sightings. We had very nice
views of a cooperative yellow-billed cuckoo and white-eyed vireo. Warblers
included multiple Tennessees, male black-throated blue, magnolia and male
blackburnians.
All are welcome to join this regular Sunday walk that meets at 8:00am in the
visitors center parking lot.
