I visitited Merrimac Farm in Nokesville for the first time this morning. Not
quite sure how to bird the place yet, but notable sightings included many
chipping sparrows along the road, pine warbler, Louisiana waterthrush along
Cedar run, hermit thrush, both kinglets, brown creeper, blue-gray gnatcatcher,
pine siskin, rusty blackbird, fox sparrow, eastern meadlowark, and wild turkey.
