Farm birdwalk produced 40 species by 6 birders. Abundant species at Merrimac
this month are White-eyed Vireo, Acadian Flycatcher, Red-eyed Vireo, Eastern
Towhee,Common Yellowthroat, Prairie Warbler, and Northern Cardinal. Of
somewhat less abundance are Ovenbirds, Indigo Bunting, and Tufted Titmouse.

The Prince William Conservation Alliance birdwalks at the Merrimac Farm
Wildlife Management Area in Nokesville take place at 8 AM on the final Sunday
of every month. Birders meet at the Area's entrance located at the stonehouse
