A beautiful day greeted 11 birders at the Merrimac Farm Wildlife Management
Area for the monthly last-Sunday bird walk sponsored by the Prince William
Conservation Alliance. Noteworthy birds included a Cape May Warbler; an
enormous flock of noisy Blue Jays; and our first of season Red Breasted Nut
hatch.

The Prince William Conservation Alliance birdwalks at the Merrimac Farm
Wildlife Management Area in Nokesville take place at 8 AM on the final Sunday
of every month. Birders meet at the Area's entrance located at the stonehouse
