My wife and I took a walk around Occoquan Bay NWR this afternoon.

Ducks are beginning to show up on the bay.

We saw a couple rafts of Ruddy Ducks on Occoquan Bay.

On Belmont Bay we saw a lone duck out among some gulls. I'm pretty sure it was a female Canvasback.

Please let me know if you think my identification is incorrect.

Ruby-crowned Kinglet (several right along the path giving great looks)
Blue Jay
Northern Mockingbird
