Hello All
Woke up and raced the sunrise to OBNWR this morning. Walked and took photos
for about 4 hours. There was one duck blind operating right off the shore, and
a few more scattered across the bay, so I didn't see much duck life.
I did see:Ruby Crowned Kinglet (along the shore)BuffleheadCanada GeeseBald
EaglesEastern Meadowlark ( in the field near the parking area)House
WrenCarolina WrenFlickersDowny woodpeckersKingfishersRed-bellied
WoodpecekrsGoldfinchesYellow-rumped warblerswhite throated sparrowsCoopers
HawkJunco'sTufted Titmouses (titmice?)
Note: also saw other sparrows, gulls, duck flocks too far for me to ID (though
suspect the closest flock to have been Scaups), what I think may have been a
vireo (very brief, but OK look through the bino's but not enough time to get a
picture),and two hawks
Also, two otters and a beaver
