Hi, again. Phil, I did press the Control Panel button on the FW 1884, and on the Task Bar or where ever, JAWS read "Control Panel pressed". But nothing changed--the dialog was still there and reappearing after closing it, just like a viral pop up. I did a system restore to June 8 while fighting the re-occuring dialog, but the dialog is still there. In regards to your question, I assume I use Asio drivers for that is what I hear JAWS say when reading input selections for tracks. But I did hear a WDM somewhere in this FW 1884 dialog as I was trying to find a way out. Does this dialog I have described earlier sound like what I would see if I went to the Control Panel of the FW 1884? I've never gone there and I am not the one who set up my system. Yes, Bill, when it rains it pours--I had just spent numerous hours of guitar work on 11 projects for a band demo -- the vocals are to be done soon. So, Cameron, I know where you are coming from.....Thanks again, S. B. From: info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Help needed, please... Does it then close out if you press the FW-1884 control panel button on the top of the FW-1884? Fatal exceptions don't sound good at all! Sonar usually doesn't do that! Finally, which drivers are you attempting to use. WDM or, ASIO?
